Gray Neville, is deeply concerned over transfer news about potential swap of Ramos with De Gea
The former right –back cautioned former club Manchester United to think twice before swapping goal keeper David de Gea-plus huge money-with Real Madrid central defender Sergio Ramos.
There are reports in Spain suggesting that the 29-year-old Real Madrid defender could move to Old Trafford in a straight swap-deal with David de Gea.
Although, Ramos has refused to talk about the deal, but after the departure of Coach Carlo Ancelotti and changes to club’s medical department, things have somehow changed creating a lot of buzz behind the scenes.
David de Gea, one of the best keepers around the globe, was crowned Manchester United’s player of the year for an outstanding season in which he helped his team claim a place in the Champions League. And, inspite of appreciating Ramos’s capabilities, Neville showed concerns over the reports by saying that Man United No.1 goal keeper may have been underestimated.
Neville was quoted on Twitter as saying: “these reports saying £40m plus De Gea for Ramos?? Please no! Nothing against Ramos but it can’t be right.”
