Louis van Gaal has revealed the reason why Victor Valdes was not on the tour of the United States. Van Gaal revealed that Valdes has been left out of the squad because he disobeyed his orders and refused to train with the reserve team.Van Gaal said:”He doesn’t follow my philosophy. There is no place for someone like that” Valdes had been training with Manchester United during the last months of 2014 as Van Gaal helped the player to rehabilitate and was later brought in January of 2015. The player had signed a 18 month contract in January but when asked whether Van Gaal would sell the goalkeeper, he responded by saying: “Yes” Anders Lindegaard and Sam Johnstone are the two keepers who have been chosen for the tour of US along with current no.1 David de Gea.
However, it seems Victor Valdes does not feel the same about not obeying Van Gaal’s orders and has completely fallen out with the manager. The player took to twitter and tweeted this.
Valdes did play for the Under 21’s who won the league so the real cause for the fall out is up in the air for grabs. Surely Van Gaal will not be happy after reading this tweet by one player he coached at Barcelona and helped him in his rehabilitation at Manchester United.
