Lee Nelson is known for his pranks. The comedian tried to board the England Football Team’s plane for the World Cup last summer and has now splashed fake notes at FIFA president Sepp Blatter’s face.
Yes, that’s what Lee Nelson this time. The British comedian gatecrashed a FIFA session earlier today and splashed fake currency notes right in front of Blatter’s face.
Nelson, whose real name is Simon Brodkin, was ejected from the building while Blatter left the stage before saying: “This is nothing to do with football … we need to clean here first” Blatter was however back on the stage and announced: ““I am still alive, the waves of the tsunami have not taken me away.”
Blatter has been a controversial figure at FIFA with a number of corruption allegations. Recently, 7 high level FIFA officials were arrested in Switzerland by the FBI.These arrests took place a week before the FIFA Presidential elections, which unsurprisingly, Blatter won.
