Lately there have been a lot of rumors about Zlatan Ibrahimovic joining Manchester United, but until now, there hasn’t been anything certain. However, in a press-conference for the Swedish national team, the ex-PSG forward shed some light on what is currently happening.
Ibrahimovic didn’t deny anything about a move to Manchester United, but also said that he has offers from a lot of other clubs as well. He added that he has a very good relationship with Jose Mourinho and he has loved working with him, but does not know whether that will happen again.
“I have not read the papers today, so I don’t know who you are linking me to. If you ask me, nothing is happening. My only focus is the Euros. There is interest from every country. England, Italy, other countries. There are concrete offers, many alternatives. It’s not important for me to have it done before the EUROs. I enjoy reading what you write. It’s fun.”
And when it came to talking about Manchester United, Zlatan stated the following:
“Jose Mourinho is the man to bring United back to the top. I had a fantastic time working with him (at Inter Milan). I don’t know if we’ll work again. I don’t give guarantees. I can tell you there is concrete offers from the Premier League I have missed working with Mourinho every day since I left Inter. Though we have not spoken in the last few weeks.”
