Despite winning the 2015-16 Premier League title and pulling off one of the most impossible tasks in sports history, at the beginning of the summer Leicester City were threatened to lose a lot of the players that helped them achieve glory.
One of the biggest stories lately was the one regarding Jamie Vardy, as the fast-paced striker’s buy-out clause was triggered by Arsenal and it looked like the Gunners were on their way to lure him. However, it seems that Vardy is staying put. There are no official statements yet, but according to BBC’s David Ornstein, the striker is to remain at Leicester.
Moreover, Arsene Wenger himself stated during an interview for a Chinese television that as far as he knows Vardy is a Leicester City player.
