Ryan Giggs states English players have become "robots" [Video]

It’s natural that after England’s Euro 2016 exit everyone is trying to figure out what was the main reason Roy Hodgson and his men failed to leave their mark at the tournament. A number of people have spoken out, but what Ryan Giggs’ said on ITV on Thursday was probably the most accurate answer until now.

The Manchester United legend stated that the reason behind England’s failure is the entire “washbag culture” in the Premier League, with all of the young players being more concerned about money and fame than football. Moreover, Giggs said that the British footballers have become “robots” that possess no individual initiative and can’t make even simple decisions on the pitch.

In the video below all of Giggs’ thoughts, plus some by Ian Wright and Ian Dixon, can be heard:

  1. What are these guys blobbing about how can young players respect elders when they haven’t achieved nothing for the team.what they have learned is how to loose.I’m 43 years old and I’ve never seen a good English team.everybody shocked as if England was the team to beat!
