Barcelona have been able to accomplish their biggest target for the offseason, as they managed to re-sign Neymar. The Brazilian superstar was heavily chased by Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, but at the end it seems that he will stay loyal to Barca.
However, it should be mentioned that the Catalonians paid a pretty big price in order to keep Neymar. The fast-paced Brazilian will now be earning even more than Lionel Messi, as his salary will be 25 million euros per after all tax deductions. That is three millions more than his Argentinian teammate.
Furthermore, Barcelona increased the buy-out clauses of Neymar. The club that wants him will have to pay 200 million euros if they try to buy him in the first year of his contract, 225 million euros in the second and 250 million euros in the years after.
