After leaving Barcelona, life hasn’t been easy for Victor Valdes, especially during his time in Manchester United. The experienced goalkeeper spent 18 months with the Red Devils, but saw almost no playing time in the Premier League.
However, earlier today, Valdes and newly-promoted Middlesbrough announced that from the 16-17 season, the 34-year-old will once again be playing in England. The ex-Barcelona player has won everything in his illustrious career and his experience will certainly be a huge positive in Boro’s locker room.
Let’s hope this time Valdes succeeds in the Premier League!
