Manchester United have enjoyed an amazing start to the 2016-17 Premier League, as they won their first two games with relative ease and their new signings have played more than better until now. Ibrahimovic and Pogba have become the new icons of the club and they have definitely deserved it.
However, Bastian Schweinsteiger’s case has been the exact opposite. The 2014 World Cup winner was signed last year for the amount of 6.5 million pounds, but at the beginning of the current campaign Jose Mourinho stated that he will simply not need the midfielder anymore and sent him to train with the reserves.
Nevertheless, despite the fact that he is not going to play, Manchester United will have to pay Schweinsteger a severance package, as the German is still under contract which is worth 17 million pounds! It’s no wonder that the Red Devils are ready to sell the German midfielder for even less than two million pounds!
