Moussa Sissoko had a pretty good Euro 2016 tournament, in which he undoubtedly impressed with his play and attracted a lot of attention from big clubs around the world. However, during the entire summer no team actually made a serious move and the Frenchman was in danger of staying at Newcastle and playing in the Championship.
However, reports have emerged that Tottenham have agreed to pay the amount of 16 million pounds for Moussa Sissoko. Furthermore, according to the Twitter account of the French national squad, Didier Deschamps has given Sissoko authorization to leave Clairefontaine in order to finalize a deal with a certain club.
“Moussa Sissoko was given authorisation by Didier Deschamps to leave Clairefontaine at 9am to finalise a transfer”
Whether or not Sissoko will sign with Tottenham will most likely be seen in the next few hours.
