The first Manchester derby for the 2016-17 season proved to be quite spectacular, but at the end, the Citizens won due to their superiority on the pitch and the good performances by their stars. For the Red Devils though, some of their biggest stars failed to impress.
One of the biggest names that went absolutely incognito throughout the entire match was Paul Pogba, as the French superstar failed to do anything productive. His poor effort didn’t go unnoticed, with Jamie Carragher slamming him during the Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.
The ex-Liverpool player stated that Pogba looked like he was a “kid in the schoolyard”, which is definitely a pretty harsh statement. However, given the midfielders performance in the Manchester derby, it’s actually not too surprising to hear these words.
