Pep Guardiola takes a dig at Jose Mourinho and Manchester United after game vs Bournemouth [Video | Spoiler]

Manchester City have started the 2016-17 Premier League season in a more than impressive manner, winning four out of their first five games and already looking like the biggest title favorites. The club’s new manager, Pep Guardiola, definitely deserves to take most of the credit, as despite some initial concerns, he has done simply marvelous.

City’s latest wing came against Bournemouth and it was a pretty impressive one, as Guardiola’s men scored four times and didn’t concede even one goal. However, the more interesting part happened after the match, as Manchester’s manager stated that Bournemouth was the best team that he has played so far this season.

It can’t be unseen that Guardiola’s words are aimed at Jose Mourinho and Manchester United, who he beat just a week in what was one of the most anticipated matches this campaign.

  1. That isn’t what he said. He said that when Bournemouth had the ball they were the team that created the most problems for City. He also talked about the qualities of key players and praised Bournemouthe in general. Nothing he said had anything to do with Mourinho or United. This is a pathetic attempt to drum up controversy where there is none.

  2. City won *five* out of their first five games, not four. I had to check the table to make sure i wasn’t crazy. Get your sh*t together.
