Spanish reports claim that Paris Saint-Germain have made a world record offer of €140 million + Hatem Ben Arfa for Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.
The teenage sensation is arguably the hottest prospect in world football, attracting attention from major European clubs, with Real Madrid and Arsenal also keen.
His performances for Monaco last season helped them to win their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years as well as a Semi-Final berth in the UEFA Champions League, where they were ultimately eliminated by Juventus.
Mbappe’s club form earned him a call-up to the French national team in March, where he now has four caps to his name.
Kylian Mbappe is aware of the potential danger of limited playing time should he move to a club of the calibre of a PSG or Real Madrid, which strongly suggests that the Frenchman will remain a Monaco player next season.
However, that hasn’t stopped PSG from making an offer that would make Mbappe the most expensive player in the history of football.
Real Madrid, who Kylian Mbappe apparently claimed are the only club he would leave Monaco for, are rumoured to be favourites to sign the teenager in the summer, but would send him back to Monaco on a season-long loan to aid his development.
