French media outlet Paris United are reporting an agreement between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier for a summer transfer.
Aurier refused to sign a contract extension with PSG last season with reports suggesting the Ivorian had signed an agreement in principle with The Red Devils as early as April.
The 24-year-old endured a turbulent season in France both on and off the pitch but remains as one of the more promising full-back prospects in world football.
His seemingly impending exit has only been compounded by his exclusion from PSG’s pre-season training camp in the United States, and he was not even listed as a substitute in their 2-1 French Super Cup victory over Monaco on the weekend.
As for Manchester United, they would benefit significantly from the addition of another powerful and pacey full-back to ease the burden from the shoulders of Antonio Valencia, who turns 32 ahead of their UEFA Super Cup clash with Real Madrid on August 8.
