Manchester United will no longer go after Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, reports Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Red Devils have been linked with the Croatian international since June, having a £26 million bid rejected by Inter before demands of £45 million from the Italians broke down negotiations.
Jose Mourinho has been vocal in his desire for four signings this summer window, and has thus far strengthened the side with the additions of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.
“The club did a fantastic job in getting three out of four players. I thank the club for that. I’ll be happier with four out of four,” Mourinho said.
That does leave the door open for Mourinho to manoeuvre further in the market, but Di Marzio claims that United have ‘disappeared from the radar’ regarding Ivan Perisic.
Manchester United recently concluded their pre-season fixtures with a 2-1 victory over Serie A outfit Sampdoria, and begin their season proper with a UEFA Super Cup meeting with Real Madrid in Skopje.
