Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan is reportedly offering himself to former club Atletico Madrid, reports Spanish outlet Marca.
The Turkish international is keen on a move away from the Catalan club after failing to assert a starting role for himself since joining in 2015.
Initial rumours discussed the possibility of Arda Turan moving to a Chinese Super League club, while a return to his native Turkey with Galatasaray has also drawn attention.
Turan apparently favours a return to Atletico Madrid, the club where he produced the best football of his career, playing a vital role in La Liga title triumph of 2014.
However, Atletico Madrid’s well-publicised transfer ban leaves them stranded regarding immediate acquisitions, as they would not be able to register the 30-year-old until January.
Arda Turan was one of only two players to not play a single minute in the Trofeo Joan Gamper friendly against Brazilian outfit Chapecoense AF, which Barcelona won 5-0.
