Jurgen Klopp has named a 32-man squad for Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League Playoff meeting with Hoffenheim.
The German has included the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino, while several youth players have been registered, likely to fill Champions League regulations for homegrown players.
Daniel Sturridge and Nathaniel Clyne have also been included despite carrying injuries that makes them unlikely to feature in the first leg, while there is no place for Reds outcasts Lazar Markovic and Mamadou Sakho.
The Reds travel to Germany to take on Julian Nagelsmann’s Hoffenheim, who also finished 4th last season, on Tuesday night before a return leg at Anfield on August 23.
Liverpool open their season proper with a trip to Watford on Saturday in the English Premier League.
