Italian champions Juventus are on the verge of completing a deal for French midfielder Blaise Matuidi, reports Sky Sports Italia and Mediaset Premium.
Blaise Matuidi will sign a three-year deal with Juventus, taking home approximately €4 million per year.
Paris Saint-Germain will receive €15 million + bonuses for the 30-year-old, who was in the final year of his contract.
The final fee is a huge drop from the reported €40 million that PSG were demanding just a few weeks ago.
Juventus are hoping for a swift medical to officially complete the transfer so that Matuidi will be available to make his league debut against Cagliari this weekend.
The Bianconeri’s season-proper commenced in disappointment, losing 3-2 to Lazio in the Italian Super Cup.
