AC Milan are close to sealing a deal for Croatian striker Nikola Kalinic from Fiorentina, claims Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
They have reported a deal worth up to €30 million has been agreed upon between the two clubs.
The Serie A outfit added almost €200 million worth of new signings over the summer, and have been linked with the former Blackburn player for the past few months.
Nikola Kalinic wasn’t keen on a return to England, even though Everton were reportedly interested, and has opted to be the latest addition to AC Milan’s squad.
He scored 15 goals in Serie A last season, the highest at Fiorentina, and finished with 20 in all competitions.
AC Milan continue their quest for Europa League football on Thursday night, welcoming KF Shkendija to the San Siro in the first of two Playoff legs.
