Rumours of Andrea Belotti’s exit from Torino are yet to meet a conclusion, as Sports Mediaset journalist Giammarco Menga reports on AS Monaco’s €80 million offer for the Italian international.
Torino are unmoved by the request; they’ve demanded AS Monaco meet his €100 million release clause.
The Ligue 1 winners are in search of a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who might not be an AS Monaco player much longer amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Andrea Belotti has been the subject of interest from European giants AC Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United this summer, but none of them have met his release clause.
Though the Italian’s services are in high demand, Torino manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is confident that Andrea Belotti will continue to build upon his impressive campaign at the club this season.
“It was not easy to keep hold of Belotti, not because he wanted to go, but due to the importance of the offers that arrived,” said Mihajlovic.
“At this point, Il Gallo is staying and he’s happy to remain. We all love him here and he knows that.”
Andrea Belotti was unable to find the net as Torino drew Bologna away in their opening Serie A fixture of the season.
