Some of the world’s most decorated players are featured as we move towards the business end of EA Sport’s FIFA 18 Player Ratings reveal.

40. Christian Eriksen – Tottenham

Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen has gone from strength to strength since joining from Ajax in 2013, and his passing and dribbling abilities are well represented in FIFA 18, while his four-star skill moves and five-star weak foot is bound to cause some damage.

39. Arturo Vidal – Bayern Munich

Arturo Vidal keeps his 87 rating from FIFA 17, as well as a four-star weak foot and tireless work rate in attack and defence.

38. Marcelo – Real Madrid

Three-time Champions League winner Marcelo is officially the best left back in the world – according to FIFA 18 – with an 87-overall rating, four-star weak foot and four-star skill moves.

37. Edinson Cavani – Paris Saint-Germain

PSG sharpshooter Edinson Cavani moves up two points overall from his initial FIFA 17 rating – he received a boost to 86 in the mid-season update.

36. Paul Pogba – Manchester United
