Turkish newspaper Milliyet claims Juventus are preparing a €15 million bid for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun.
The 26-year-old, who was born in Germany, attracted interest from Crystal Palace and Newcastle over the summer after the most prolific season of his career.
He netted 20 times in the Turkish Super League with Besiktas and added another four in European competitions last season, playing in both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
With Turkish giants Besiktas reportedly willing to listen to offers for the former Gaziantepspor striker, Juventus could have their man as early as January.
The Old Lady have identified the Turkey international as the perfect back-up for Gonzalo Higuaín.
While the move would bolster Massimiliano Allegri’s attacking options in Serie A, he would be unable to utilise the Besiktas forward in the UEFA Champions League – as he is cup-tied after playing in the Group Stage.
Cenk Tosun is one of the highest scoring players in the UEFA Champions League with four goals from five appearances in the Group Stage, playing a hand in six of the nine goals Besiktas have scored.
